Our value-added management services include finding suitable candidates for learnerships that meet your B-BBEE requirements. We also manage the associated administration on your behalf, assessing, validating, and registering each learner with your appropriate SETA.

We have established relationships with various communities and constantly invest time and effort in outreach campaigns to secure suitable candidates to enroll in sponsored Learnerships. This is actively done through our sourcing partner, Learner Recruitment Agency. We understand that it’s vital to enroll dedicated candidates who will complete their learnership and who are future-focused and striving for career development.

At the end of the Learnership, Skills Development Corporation strives to assist companies with absorbing their learners into sustainable and suitable positions or finding opportunities to place them at one of our Placement Partners. It is paramount to this service that our learners achieve full-time employment.

Placement Partners

Work-integrated learning is vital for completing any learnership. For this reason, we partner with businesses referred to as Placement Partners, who can offer practical work experience to enrolled learners as temporary staff.

Participating as a Placement Partner provides invaluable hands-on experience to current learners enrolled in learnerships and contributes to your community’s empowerment and upliftment. And the best part? As a Placement Partner, you can reap the benefit of extra hands on deck without adding the temporary staff to your payroll.

Who Can Become a Placement Partner?

The business is based in Gauteng, mainly on West Rand, South Side, and East Rand.
The business is registered and upholds good work ethics.
The business agrees to have a site visit completed by SDC.
The workplace is accessible to learners through public transport.
The workplace environment is safe and accessible to disabled learners (if applicable).
A mentor is available and appointed to assist and train the learner.
A mentor can assist the learner with completing the work logbook.
A workstation is available to the learner.
Work-integrated learning can be offered in the learner’s field of study.
